She Did It Again: Britney Makes Otherwise Cute Boots look Hideous

In our holier-than-thou moments, we might chastise celebs for having disposable wardrobes. We make mental notes of how when we hit it rich, we’ll wear our designer jeans at least three times before throwing them out (or before giving them to our assistant as her Christmas bonus). And we’ll certainly wear the same shoes more than once.

But then we look at dear Britney and see that there are exceptions to our multiple-wear rule. Even now, we’re sending her telepathic messages:

“It’s okay. Let the pink boots go.”

She hears us, but she does not listen.

Over the past year (yes, year), she’s been sporting *cozy boots of grimness everywhere*. We don’t hate Timberland as a general rule. Or Uggs even. But we hate them with Daisy Dukes and minis. Bare legs deserve bare ankles. Comfy boots go with sweats, denim and snowsuits. At the very least, they go with pants.

Stained boots, however, only go with pitchforks and overalls.

Someone get that girl some Havaianas. Stat.
