Katy Perry is the most buzzed about new soloist of the summer, but it’s her vintage vixen look that has got the fashion world taking notice. She’s at every fashion fête, and Betsey Johnson recently provided her various dresses for Fall New York Fashion Week.

Is she the new Pin Up Girl a la Dita Von Teese? She’s also often mistaken for Zooey Deschanel. Katy’s never afraid to experiment with bright colors; she’s open to rompers and sequin dresses and short shorts. This is a girl who knows how to take chances.

She’s the vamp of summer here in a yellow Vintage Jet Rag onesie with a red vintage belt and turquoise shoes by Nicholas Kirkwood.

Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoes have racked up some serious mileage with celebs this season. The British newcomer’s designs graced the spring 2008 runways of Belstaff, Tommy Hilfiger, Basso & Brooke, Doo.Ri and Phillip Lim, all in his first season officially in the game.
