Sexy Slapstick Actress Still Manages to Look Like Girl Next Door

A blonde interloper has come between Hugh Hefner and his “Girls Next Door” trio. Amid rumors of discord in the Playboy Mansion between Hugh Hefner’s youngest girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson, and his other ladies, Scary Movie’s Anna Faris, who stars in The House Bunny, has been named Hef’s honorary fourth girlfriend. Is there some kind of award ceremony or certificate of achievement that comes with that, ShoeMinx wonders? Hef and his lovelies make a cameo appearance in the new flick, out this Friday.

As the bunny fur flies back at the grotto, Faris ditched her House Bunny character’s 7-inch heels, padded bra and hair extensions to perform her promotional duties at a special screening hosted by CosmoGIRL. Uh, CosmoGIRL? The Axe crowd at Maxim we could understand, but, call us crazy, we don’t think The House Bunny will be pulling in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 crowd.

Faris was all girly girl in a strapless black and white baby doll dress that looked lovely with her tanned skin. She accented her look with minimal jewelry and standard black heels, or SBH, as ShoeMinx likes to call them. Like the little black dress, SBH are tried and true but not exactly fashion-forward or fabulous. If ShoeMinx were her stylist, we would have picked a different shoe to pair with such an airy, fairy dress. And perhaps something in a vibrant color or unexpected pattern for a bit of fun.

From our great, big imaginary shoe closet where everything is properly arranged by color (sigh, if only), ShoeMinx suggests:

A moment of silence, please, to appreciate the perfection of the Very Brode from Christian Louboutin. Simply de-lovely and divine. Every woman should own at least one pair of whimper-inducing heels even if the closest you’ll ever get to a red carpet is the area rug in your living room.
