Scarlett Johansson, at a ripe twenty-three, is charmingly pliant and openly sexual on screen in a way that obviously tickles her male directors. She’s at a stage in which her sensuality is more developed than anything else in her acting arsenal. In Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Woody Allen captures this budding sensuality in spades.  The romantic comedy, set against the bohemian backdrop of Barcelona, features Johansson’s much-hyped kiss with Penelope Cruz.

Scarlett was all smiles earlier in the week at the Teen Choice Awards, wearing a sweet little pair of peep-toe pumps. Wonder where her yummy new fiance Ryan Reynolds was this week? No sign of him at either red carpet.
