Oh Baby! Suri Cruise Plays Dress Up in Custom Roger Vivier Flatties

Like mother, like daughter, Suri Cruise, celebuspawn of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, was snapped a while back admiring her mom’s red Roger Viviers. The tyke may be too young to know her ABCs but she’s already exhibiting that she knows a fabulous pair of shoes when she sees them. Suri Cruise, while pint-sized and slightly blankie-obsessed, knows this. Because she’s Hollywood royalty and has style priorities. So instead of just staring wistfully at her mom’s Roger Vivier flats, she got herself a pair.

The only pair.

Roger Vivier does not make children’s shoes. Nor does he intend to begin making them. But Suri Cruise is the exception to every rule. She can run through the park in her mini-iconic buckled shoes while her peers still struggle with Velcro.

Suri picked out a pair of $595 red flats for Katie at the Madison Avenue Vivier store and blue pumps for the Met gala a few months ago.  The former “Dawson’s Creek” star has been a fan of the legendary French luxury fashion house for the past few years, wearing the firm’s signature sunglasses, shoes and evening clutches to red carpet events and rehearsals of her Broadway play.

Now as the ultimate customer loyalty reward, Suri is getting her very own custom buckle Vivs- the first pair ever made for a child. Unfortunately, the shoes are just one-offs.  Reps for RV say “we do not have a children’s line nor are we starting one.”

At just two-years old, the budding shoe-lover has quite the enviable shoe collection. She’s already Louboutin’s youngest customer, having received a hand-crafted pair of the famous red-soled shoes for Christmas. So not fair.  What’s next-Blahniks and Jimmy Choos?  At this rate, Suri will have a fashion footwear vocabulary on par with Anna Wintour by the time she’s five.

But let’s hope the pampered princess doesn’t inherit Katie’s love of pegged leg jeans, too.
