Madonna: Happy 50th Birthday Madge - We Love The Stella McCartney Thigh High Boots!

The Material Mom reinvented herself once again last Saturday as a fabulous fifty-year old, wearing over-the-knee black boots and more bling than 50 Cent for her birthday bash at London’s hot spot Volstead. The Queen of Pop doesn’t look like she is giving up her crown anytime soon as photos of Mrs. Richie revealed a wrinkle-free face and glowing complexion, showing the world that no baseball-player-adultery-scandal can keep her down.

Prior to last night’s fiesta, Madonna’s cool exterior cracked under the unflattering lime light when news broke of her alleged involvement in Yankee third- baseman A-Rod’s split from his wife. Rumors also swirled that Madonna’s own marriage to director Guy Richie was on the rocks and headed for failure. In a final blow, her brother Christopher Ciccone published a tell-all memoir, Life with My Sister Madonna that exposed the living legend to even more public scrutiny.

Yet in the face of all this bad publicity, the most famous woman in music rocked her fiftieth birthday in style and without regret, and did it all in a hot pair of leather boots. We can’t wait to see what she busts out in her much-anticipated Sticky and Sweet tour, set to kick off this Saturday night in Wales. ShoeMinx reported a few weeks ago that Madge was planning a lesbian kiss with Katy Perry! If that happens, it will be the concert tour photo op of the summer. Next to John and Jen’s Love Bus, of course.

Her tour costume has been created by the top names in the fashion industry, including Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy. Hardly surprising then that she opted for a Givenchy outfit to party in on her birthday. Madonna wore a sheer black and gold dress with thigh-high Stella McCartney boots and a heap of gold Givenchy jewelery featuring Gothic Christian crosses.
