It’s as if the Smack Down never happened.

California hasn’t been experiencing a cold snap that we’re aware of, and judging by Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight’s attire it’s not unseasonably cool, which makes co-star/BFF Katherine Heigel’s outfit all the more puzzling. Why, in the middle of summer, would you encase the entire lower half of your leg in sweaty, cankle-ilicious boots that shorten your legs? And when you’re young and have gorgeous gams, as does Mrs. Josh Kelley, why would you not be showing them off at every opportunity? ShoeMinx would have suggested chic flats or sandals instead. Or even a nice wedge or espadrille. Anything less chunky, really.

Not that there’s anything wrong with the boots. They’re very polo club meets Ralph Lauren, which we like. In the fall. Perhaps with a skinny jean and cashmere sweater. Hmmm, cashmere. But for now, put the tall, stuffy boots away and include any one of this season’s fabulous sandals into your summertime rotation. Your feet will thank you!
