Is Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria Parker Desperate for Motherhood?
Pregnancy Storyline + Short n’ Sassy “Soccer Mom” Haircut
Spark Baby Bump Watch

Things have been quiet on the celebrity baby front now that the Bradgelina babies are living the high life in France and No Doubt singer and LAMB designer Gwen Stefani has been sequestered for the birth of her second mini Rossdale. With time on their hands, celebrity baby bump watchers have turned their gaze to Eva Longoria Parker’s mid-section.
It all started, though, with her haircut. When the Desperate Housewives star showed up with her L’Oreal locks cut into a “mumsy” bob, eyebrows raised and speculation that she cut it in a fit of hormone-induced baby madness began. Adding fuel to the fire, Parker’s TV character is conveniently pregnant this season. Could producers have written her real-life pregnancy into the show in a paparazzi subterfuge plot worthy of Spy vs. Spy?

Hot mama or mamacita to-be, the actress maintains her A-list style status. Her cashmere-casual outfit (sans baby bump) is dressed up with tasteful gold touches on her wrist and ears, and a pair of YSL Tribute animal print pumps for added oomph that combine this season’s top trends: print, peep-toe and platform. At 5′3″, the vertically-challenged Mrs. Parker has never met a pair of heels she didn’t like, and the higher, the better.
Wearing animal print can either add a touch of class to an outfit or produce a nightmare streetwalker-ish fashion disaster. Nothing is quite as heartbreaking as the blatant abuse of animal print. Parker shows the right way to tame this powerful style statement by using it to “pop” an outfit with a walk on the wild side in an animal print shoe. Let your style roar!
