Fall Fashion Forecast: Versace, Chloe, Betsey Johnson and Cesare Paciotti

Fall fashion is upon us, and this year, you can fight away the grey-day blues with your super bright and colorful pumps. That’s right: bright, bold heels are in for this fall, and we here at ShoeMinx couldn’t be more pumped.
Betsy Johnson, BabyPhat, and Versace all rolled out a parade of colorful footwear for their winter collections - ranging from Barbie-pink pumps to teal booties to purple over-the-knee boots. How could you possibly get the winter doll drums when your shoes are so perky and poppin’? Check out these brilliant green booties from Chloe’s winter 2008 collection to see what we mean.
We fell hard for Cesare Paciotti’s fabulous use of color in his new 2008 fall/winter shoe collection, particularly the kaleidoscopic suede print heels. Bright, bold, and completely unexpected, these shoes will get you noticed with their playful shapes and whimsical hues. We haven’t had this much fun with our footwear since the days of jelly platforms. We admit it.
The way to wear these bright little pieces of eye candy is to pair them with a pair of dark, thick tights (woven pattern is a plus) and a mini dress or bare-legged with a pair of long dress shorts and knit top. Remember that material is everything: think suede, leather, and velour. Be the one to watch this fall and chase winter boredom away with bright, powerful, and totally unforgiving color - you’ll look fabulous doing it. Search for the best in fall fashion here.
