HOT OFF THE PRESS: Angelina’s Twins First Photo Shoot Keeps it All in the Family

Surprise! Surprise! They’re Crazy GORGEOUS!

And According to Sales Figures: “Bigger than 9/11″

People Magazine Pays Millions for the Pleasure of Releasing the Hotly Anticipated Photographs.

World, meet Hollywood’s New “It” Couple - not Brad and Angelina - but their twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon! Just 3 weeks old, the twins have taken the world by storm. The obsessive mainstream media coverage of the Jolie-Pitt birth has reached epic heights.

With an anticipation not seen since Princess Diana’s wedding, the much heralded, much anticipated duo made their cover debut in a sneak peek on People magazine’s website earlier today. People outbid Hello! magazine to the tune of $14 million for the infants’ first photo shoot. Newborn photos of older sis Shiloh set a single-day traffic record for their website, attracting 26.5 million page views.

The multi-million dollar payout is a record in the world of celebrity baby photos. Genetically blessed parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are donating all the money to charity. JLo’s People pics of her twins were a relative bargain at $6 million. When People published six photos of Pitt, Jolie and baby Shiloh in June 2006, the issue sold 2.2 million copies, its biggest seller since its 4 million-selling 9/11 special, according to Media Week.

The prodigious A-list couple - who welcomed the twins on July 12 - have four other children: 6 years old Maddox, 4 years old Pax, 3 years old Zahara, and 2 years old Shiloh, but are determined to continue expanding their brood. A source said: “Angelina wants one more baby naturally - even if they end up having twins again. Twins would be wonderful. A dozen kids would be their dream.”

At this rate, the tabs could go bankrupt keeping up with the birth of more mini Jolie-Pitts. Meanwhile, charities the world over have set-up shrines and started praying to the fertility gods.

We imagine the floods of traffic to www.people.com will spike so staggeringly that the throngs of hits just might “break” the internet. The celebrity couple signed the deal, which gives the magazines the right to publish the first photographs of Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, promising to send the money to charity.

We love the insert cover photo of Shiloh holding her new baby sister like a doll. How freakin’ cute is that. Not only crazy cute but sweet overload! Shoeminx may need a shot of insulin before taking on the whole 19 page spread come Monday.

“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the couple’s four older children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play (hide-and-seek is a favorite) on the château’s sprawling grounds.

Adds Pitt: “[It's] still a cuckoo’s nest.”

Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

For the complete story, including 19 pages of intimate family photos and the full interview with Brad and Angelina, pick up this week’s issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Monday

Kate Middleton and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List

Princess-in-Waiting is a Already a Royal Dresser

KATE MIDDLETON
Signature look: “Tailored jackets, boots, and Philip Treacy hats”.

HOT OFF THE PRESSES: Vanity Fair just revealed their International Best-Dressed List. Instead of sticking with Tinseltown’s elite, this list is packed with royalty, high-profile businessmen and women, and fashionistas without significant tabloid presence. The only common denominator is that each honoree has a distinct sense of personal style. And, as judging by the footwear preferences of those interviewed, there is no “it” look to land you in the fashion stratosphere. Instead, it’s all about working your own signature look.

The International Best-Dressed Hall of Fame is the highest honor a sartorial savant can receive. Inductees have a style sensibility that withstands the test of time.

And for an emerging or established shoe designer, a mention from one of the luminaries on this list is the ultimate endorsement. We congratulate Roger Vivier, Philip Treacy, Manolo Blahnik, New Balance, Vans, Missoni, Louis Vuitton, Alaïa, John Galliano, Roberto Cavalli, Cleverley of London, Alden of Massachusetts, and Tricker’s of London for scoring the Big Time Celebrity Shout Out.
