Selma Blair was a vision of raven-haired loveliness at the Hellboy II:The Golden Army press conference in Mexico City yesterday. Look for Selma’s character Liz to come out from under her dark, heavy clothes in the sequel. Liz is much sexier, as she’s done being a shrinking violet. Liz is part of the B.P.R.D., Hellboy’s exclusive monster-fighting group.

Selma plays a pyrokinetic that can light herself on fire and manipulate fire however she pleases. She’s also Hellboy’s love interest, so that should make for one smokin’ love scene. Get your extinguishers ready!

Pop star Alicia Keyes worked the BET Red Carpet last night wearing Sergio Rossi’s stellar “paint drip” black and white peep-toe pumps. We’re not quite sure about the dress but we LOVE the shoes. The splash patent peep toe dips into this season’s lust for all things “painterly”, without looking too stupidly Jackson Pollock. Points for Sergio Rossi on that one.
