Forget about Cinderella and Slippers. This week, it’s all about the Silver Screen Siren that is Charlize Theron and her Sandals! It’s a huge week for Charlize as she promotes her summer blockbuster Hancock with co-star Will Smith in Hollywood, and celebrates her boyfriend Stuart Townsend’s directorial debut at an exclusive party in Malibu. She went for gladiator sandals at the party for Townsend’s Battle in Seattle…

In Hancock, Will Smith plays a burnt-out, hard-living superhero who starts an affair with his publicist’s wife, played by Charlize. For the glitzy Hancock red carpet, Charlize opted for jeweled thong sandals. It’s an easy, breezy summer style that refuses to take red carpets too seriously. ShoeMinx is not surprised, as Charlize is that rare fabulous thing in Hollywood: A Golden Age Throwback. She’s an old-fashioned, good-time Hollywood gal, like Carole Lombard.
