Megan Fox is Gaining on Jennifer Aniston in ShoeMinx Best Legs in Hollywood Poll

Considering Jen is 39 and Megan is, like, 22, We say… Go Jen Go!

The ShoeMinx audience has spoken. As of 8:30 AM EST on July 10th, 2008, Jennifer Aniston is leading at 29% with 30 votes, with Megan Fox quickly gaining at 26% with 27 votes. Charlize Theron is a close third at 22% with 23 votes.

ShoeMinx loves this rare photo of Jen looking like a co-ed on spring break. We’re sorry Megan, but you’re going to have to think a bit harder about your brand if you want to move beyond Maxim pin up girl status and strike a chord that reaches beyond “Megan Fox + Hottie” to “Megan Fox + Beautiful” search word status. Jen is close to reaching cultural and fashion icon status. She just needs to make out with Jake Gyllenhaal again, or give us another Good Girl quality performance.

Jennifer also beat the much younger Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera in a “scientific” study conducted by Braun Electronics in July of 2006. They too, were curious about who has the perfect legs in showbiz. Their formula’s main considerations focus on the proportion of the legs and thighs and the texture of the skin.

Jennifer scored an amazing 14.67, the highest score of all the women that were ‘tested’. Apparently, for men, the ideal leg is shapely, full and smooth, with a semi-gloss sheen. Women want the same thing – only two sizes smaller. And the winner was declared, by far, Jennifer Aniston.

The research also revealed that most British men prefer their women with more curvy - like Beyonce Knowles. The conclusion of the test was that women place more stress and are harder on their figure than men are. As if that was something new.

Most guys who’d just starred in a hit multi-million blockbuster movie with a director like Michael Bay would go out and buy a Bugatti or a ‘Borughini. Not Transformers star Megan Fox. These days, a landmark “I’ve arrived” celebratory purchase for women is all about the status shoe or the status handbag.

Contactmusic quoted her as saying, “But the very first thing I got that was crazy expensive and that I couldn’t believe I’d bought was a pair of Roberto Cavalli, four-inch spike heels.”

“They were brown and ornate with gold on the back and carving on the heel,” she elaborated. “They were GBP 300. Up to that point I think the most I had ever paid for a pair of shoes was GBP 15. That was a really big deal for me and I have to admit that since then I’ve gone crazy with the shoe thing. That’s where I spend my money and it’s really bad.”

Fox was named the World’s Sexiest Woman last April by FHM’s annual online poll. The 21-year-old grabbed the title from actress Jessica Alba, 26, topping online men’s magazine FHM reader poll of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2008.

Megan also admits a healthy obsession with Christian Louboutin, as we can plainly see here. Looks like she’s working it harder for Louboutin than she is for Michael Bay!
