Seeing Double: 27 Dresses Star Katherine Heigl Vs. Bride Wars Anne Hathaway
Here Come the Brides, All Dressed as Grooms

In H’wood wearing the same outfit twice is unforgivable. Even worse, wearing the same outfit that someone else has already worn. Remember the hissy fit Sarah Jessica Parker threw when she learned that the silver strapless Nina Ricci gown she sported for the SATC movie premiere had already been worn by someone else? Oops. Making matters worse, Lindsay Lohan wore the gown in an advertising campaign for Disney. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl (that’s Hi- Gul… not Hi- Jel; God help you if you get it wrong . . .) must not have gotten that memo. Her movie 27 Dresses may have won favorite comedy at the People’s Choice Awards, but the actress skipped the frocks in favor of a fitted Dolce & Gabanna tuxedo copy-catted from Anne Hathaway’s groomsman attire at the Bride Wars opening earlier just a few days before.
And like Anne, Katherine paired her look with a fabulous pair of strappy heels, opting for metallic Jimmy Choo platforms. All that’s missing is Kate Hudson to complete the bride and groom tableau. She must have been tied up doing grip-and-grin on Letterman, otherwise we’re sure she wouldn’t have passed up a chance to scrunch her nose and giggle in that way of hers that passes for acting.

Katherine Heigl: Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’
Grey’s Anatomy Smack Down
The First Rule of Actor Club is Don’t Diss the Writer Club!

After her infamous speech about taking herself out of the running for this year’s Emmy race because she felt the writers failed to provide her with quality material, Katherine Hiegl might get the boot from the producers of “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Heigl said in a recent statement, “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.”
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of ABC’s hit medical drama, is rumoured to have ordered a “hit” on Heigl’s popular Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens. We can understand Rhimes instinct to kill her off due to remarks Heigl made about the upcoming Emmys. The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticizes the show for lack of material? It’s an ungrateful backhand to the very writers responsible for her 2007 Emmy win in the first place.
“It’s not good there,” a source tells E! of the Grey’s Anatomy set. “Shonda is pissed. They’re thinking of killing her off. They want Izzie dead.”
Here we present the prettier moments of Heigl’s career as we don’t think she’ll be stepping out on the Emmy red carpet any time soon.
