Rumored to “Give Us More” With Surprise MTV Performance

In Hollywood, even hairdressers are stars. Kim Vo, celebrity hairstylist on the reality series “Shear Genius,” has unofficially confirmed that his “Gimme More” client Britney Spears will give a surprise performance at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. Well, it won’t really be that much of surprise now that he’s told everyone with a microphone and TV camera.

And hey y’all… doesn’t that look exactly like Katy Perry on the left of Brit? Can anyone confirm this?

Though her last VMA performance was more bomb than bombastic, Britney dressed the part for a big time Vegas comeback in a jewel-encrusted bra, hot pants and black boots with an embellished heel. This time around ShoeMinx is “Anticipating” a look and performance that will drive us crazy.

All signs have been pointing to Brit Brit working to “Break the Ice” and reclaim her VMA crown. After a rather chaotic period, the pop-tart has been snapped hitting the gym to get her sexy back and has been busy recording a sixth album, set for release next year. The biggest tease though, is the oh-so-subtle (not!) VMA promo she shot with host Russell Brand, pink elephant included.

Vo, who counts Desperate Housewives‘ Teri Hatcher and You, Me and Dupree star Kate Hudson among his famous clientele, is working on three looks for the Grammy-winner: one for the red carpet, a second for the show and the piece de resistance, a look for her performance.

We are LOVING Jenny’s decision to pair gray suede boots with this little black dress last night at the Generation Rescue party in LA. Jenny and beau Jim Carrey look unfazed at posing with the blonde basketcase who’s been deemed too irresponsible to bake s’mores for her own offspring.

In contrast to Jenny’s “Cool Britannia” boots, Britney’s shoes make her look like a circus midget. Her feet look positively cartoon-ish. Betty Boop goes dumb-as-a-post blonde.
