Just two weeks after welcoming twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline into the world, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have chosen fellow humanitarian Bono to be Godfather to their new twins.
British newspaper the Mirror reports that the couple, along with their ever-expanding brood, recently spent some downtime at Bono’s waterfront home in Eze, France.
“They have been friends for years,” says the paper’s source. “Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back. Since then, they’ve become very close, which Brad is thrilled about.”
The paper’s source says that the singer immediately accepted the offer.
