Bill Gates Shoe Shopping With Jerry Seinfeld: The New Microsoft Corporate Message
Bill Gates Shakes His Booty To Signal the Coming of Cake!
The new Microsoft commercial, featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates out discount shoe shopping, was unveiled Thursday night on TV. Today it’s near the top of YouTube’s most viewed list, and many of those viewers are leaving a trail of rancorous confusion all over the Web. People are asking, nay, demanding to know what is up with the absurdist corporate message.
There’s discussion spreading in the blogosphere about how his discount shoe shopping has little to do with Microsoft. Still, the fact that this oddball commercial starring everyone’s favorite “show about nothing” comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, has people making such a fuss is a sign that something must be working. When was the last time we all got up in arms about the lack of product in an ad?
What’s the message? “Vista is hard, let’s go shopping!”
If a billionaire can go discount, there’s no need to apologize for your Choo-wannabes. And while we’ve yet to see evidence of an edible cake-like Microsoft, we will walk away from the spot with a little spring in our step and wiggle in our butt, courtesy of the surprisingly funny Gates.
And even at Shoe Circus, measure before buying. Fit is everything
