Angelina’s Twins Arrive: A Girl and a Boy?!
ShoeMinx Welcomes Knox and Vivienne Jolie Pitt to the Red Carpet
According to breaking reports, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has given birth to healthy twins, a girl and a boy, in the French Riviera maternity clinic she has checked into, the Nice-Matin newspaper reported today quoting her gynaecologist.
The twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born just 15 minutes apart, at 6:45PM and 7:00PM local French time. The paper said quoting gynaecologist Michel Sussmann.
Jolie is fine after having a Caesarian section, it added.
Knox Leon was reported to weigh 2.27kg (five pounds) and Vivienne Marcheline 2.28kg (5.02 pounds).
The babies’ first photograph was sold to a US paper for $US11 million ($A11.4 million), Nice-Matin said, adding that the money would be given to a humanitarian cause.
The twins brought 33-year-old Jolie’s brood with partner Brad Pitt to six. They have adopted three children: Maddox, six, born in Cambodia; four-year-old Pax, born in Vietnam; and Zahara, three, born in Ethiopia. They also share a biological child, Shiloh, born in Namibia, in May 2006.

What great news! Congrats to Brad and Angelina. I can’t wait to see the craziness that will ensue once the pictures are published!
I’m not a cynic but $14M to charity for these baby pictures? Don’t you think it would be tempting to ’squirrel’ a bit away for the kids’ college funds? Then again, their parents are making $20M per film, a couple of times a year.
