Is Nick Jonas Really Worth Getting Your Panties in a Twist?

Disney’s hottest and most popular teen queens are co-stars in a real life adaptation of Mean Girls.  Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus and Wizards of Waverly Place starlet Selena Gomez are frenemies now that singer Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has moved on from Cyrus to, you guessed it, Gomez (allegedly, as Kathy Griffin says). It’s all so very “Sweet Valley High.”  And didn’t we already go through this with Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan not so long ago?

Gomez was “sugar and spice and everything nice” in a bright blue strapless dress, paired with silver hoops and matching pumps. The color is not bad, but as the rumored successor to the Cyrus’ Tweendom, Gomez needed something that says “superstah,” not second fiddle. Clearly, there is only one way to decide the victor in this adolescent drama:  A Walk-off.  She who rocks the best footwear wins!  Bring it, girls.

At the Teen Choice Awards, host Cyrus was age-appropriate in a glittered tiered Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring sequined dress.  She accessorized with slouchy, taupe boots for a bit of light-rock edge. Cyrus has had this look on repeat on and off the red carpet, so ShoeMinx would have preferred to see her in a strappy shoe or gladiator flat to break the style monotony.

Miley Cyrus DVD Launch: “The Best of Both Worlds”

Disney channel superstar, Miley Cyrus, is now promoting her new DVD, “Best of Both Worlds Concert: Hanna Montana and Miley Cyrus”. The film includes a “backstage pass” peek at Miley’s life on tour… featuring the Jonas Brothers! That’s right girls, the Jonas Brothers.

At the DVD launch, the Tween Queen is seen looking cute as can be in her plaid mini kilt, fitted grey t-shirt, stripped knee socks and cool faded yellow All Star Converse sneakers. Miley’s new concert DVD is due to come out August 19th. If you die-hard fans can’t wait that long, don’t worry. Her new album, “Breakout” is set to drop July 22.
