In a narcissistic moment that could jeopardize her ballroom dance future, Kim Kardashian fell ass-backward into a mirror last night. Well, not really. But yes, the buxom belle did slice her foot wide open in her New York City hotel. We can see the lawsuit papers against the hotel being filed as we write this.

The reality star, who’s making the publicity rounds in the Big Apple for her big-screen acting debut in next Friday’s spoof Disaster Movie, sought treatment at New York Presbyterian Hospital. It’s not known how many stitches she received, but Kardashian told Good Morning America today she bled so much, it was “like a murder scene.”

KiKi assured her fans that the “mishap”, however, will not jeopardize her hopes to compete on the upcoming seventh season of Dancing With the Stars, which premieres Sept. 22.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was included on the roster of new contestants DWTS host Tom Bergeron unveiled today on GMA alongside R&B singer Toni Braxton, former Wild On and Rock Star host Brooke Burke, celebrity chef Rocco Dispirito, Emmy winner Cloris Leachman, ex-N’ Syncer Lance Bass, Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath, former Married With Children star Ted McGinley, Olympic beach volleyball gold medal winner Misty May-Treanor and tube legend Susan Lucci of All My Children.

After the lineup was announced, the 27-year-old Kardashian called in and made it clear the injury will not keep her from strutting her stuff.

“I will be able to dance,” Kardashian confirmed. She then elaborated on her bloody mess.

“There was a mirror beneath a little desk and it was all broken…and I used my foot to push it away from the desk,” she said. “I went to the hospital and I’m fine.”

“If you’re gonna hurt your foot, do it on the eve of the announcement,” joked Bergeron.

“I wish this didn’t happen,” added Kardashian, who up until today had been rehearsing her dance moves. “I have to wear heels all day today. You saw my room. It looked like a murder scene!”
