Kanye Might Not Get His Buzz, But We Count 14 Golden Reasons

Now that he’s finished record-breaking, everyone wants to know whose heart he’s breaking. Since winning, romance rumors have linked the “Baltimore Bullet” to Aussie swimmer Stephanie Rice, US swimmer Amanda Beard and British model Lily Donaldson. At this rate, he’s going to need stamina of Olympic proportions to keep up with his league of lovely ladies.

It’s amazing what eight Olympic gold medals can do for a guy’s popularity. Beijing golden boy Michael Phelps is out of the pool and cashing in on his record-breaking performance to the tune of an estimated $40-100 million in endorsements. If his management team has their way, the Abs-of-Steel Aquaman could be the Michael Jordan of the swim world.

The current rumors have Phelps linked with Lily Donaldson, the 21-year-old English model who displaced Kate Moss at Burberry. They also have him snogging with Amanda Beard. Will anyone care enough to gossip about Phelps’ love life in a year? Will the 2012 London Olympic hopeful have time for a love life in a year? Doubtful on both counts, but for now at least you know who to be jealous of.

With a full promo schedule, including hosting the 34th season premiere of SNL (NBC, all Phelps, all the time!), it’s time for America’s bachelor-of-the-moment to put his endorsement dollars to good use and spring for an “I’m young, single and worth millions” type of shoe-at least until he scores the inevitable shoe deal! We think he should “design” a line for Cole Haan or Nike.

Phelps also has an upcoming cameo on Entourage!

Fall fashion is upon us, and this year, you can fight away the grey-day blues with your super bright and colorful pumps. That’s right: bright, bold heels are in for this fall, and we here at ShoeMinx couldn’t be more pumped.

We haven’t had this much fun with our footwear since the days of jelly platforms. We admit it.
The way to wear these bright little pieces of eye candy is to pair them with a pair of dark, thick tights (woven pattern is a plus) and a mini dress or bare-legged with a pair of long dress shorts and knit top. Remember that material is everything: think suede, leather, and velour.
