Oddly enough, this wearing of say, a Pat Benatar T-shirt “in jest” is one of the ultimate stamps of fashion. Nicely played, Perez. Nicely played indeed. Either way, the man with “Queen of All Media” branded microphone wins.

Playing with his Gossip Gangster image, the line dabbles in all kinds of assorted aesthetics: Hello Kitty on Acid, New Kids on the Block: All Grown Up And In Rehab, Miami Vice-meets-21 Jump Street. It’s actually not a bad intersection of cultural references. Again, more evidence that Perez Hilton is the dominant “social professor” of our times.
